Title: Smart Manufacturing – Applications & Technologies

The world is witnessing the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and as engineers, we are fortunate to participate in and influence it. It is said that smart manufacturing is critical to remain competitive, efficient, and sustainable. Though this is true at a high level, it's important to identify the right applications and use cases that deliver value for a specific manufacturing setup, considering its unique environment and constraints.

The session will cover various applications, use cases, and case studies highlighting the benefits for manufacturers. Smart manufacturing is driven by digital technologies. The session will provide an overview of these technologies and the architectural frameworks used in such systems.
